Conclusion
Long-term success is about suppressing those
emotions that urge you to take refuge. In order to
provide you with the best possible outcomes, you
should be prepared to stay the course during times
of market turbulence, knowing you have a robust
plan and are invested in an appropriate risk level.
2025 was a great demonstration of the bene昀椀ts of
being globally diversi昀椀ed in a multi-asset solution.
While the US waned, other asset classes rose. UK,
Europe, and Emerging Market equities were standouts,
as were diversi昀椀er asset classes such as emerging
market debt, commodities, and global infrastructure.
As always, diversi昀椀cation has proven to be
a successful long-term strategy, particularly
during times of market stress. Corrections,
whatever the reason, are part of being invested
for the long term. Staying invested during the
highs, as well as the lows, has proven to be an
appropriate and successful strategy, particularly
if you are not focused on a single geographic
area or asset class.
We believe investors will continue to bene昀椀t
from diversi昀椀cation for many years to come,
as long as they remember to stay invested.
